Scope and content

The series covers a large number of documents from family archives. Biographical: birth, death, and marriage certificates, educational documents, educational and service IDs, professional and social activity-related certificates and references, diaries, autobiographies, etc.; documents on repressions, including copies from investigation files: arrest certificates, resolutions, warrants, search reports, arrest forms, interrogation reports, sentences, intra- and interdepartmental correspondence, petitions after arrest, certificates of execution of sentences, documents on placement in camps and exile, certificates of release, inquiries of relatives about the fate of arrested persons, answers to them, etc.; ca. 1500 units of correspondence with prisoners and deportees; materials on rehabilitation (applications, correspondence with official bodies, decisions of rehabilitation bodies, certificates of rehabilitation). The series files contain photographs, drawings, portraits, stories, poems and memoirs, Memorial questionnaires, correspondence with the Memorial, and extracts from electronic databases.

The materials of the series are represented by documents from the 1920s to 2023 (mainly 1930s – 1950s, late 1980s – 2020s). Some documents date from the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th centuries.
